"present perfect" er ikke førdatid. Det er "perfektum" eller på dansk "førnutid "som i
"er kommet - "har smilet" - har drukket" - "er forsvundet".
Førdatid hedder på engelsk "past perfect"
In English:
The present perfect is a tense of a verb which describes an action that took place in the past with consequences for the present moment, e.g. "I have read the book" (= now I know it) or "I have seen the film" (= now I'm familiar with it)
This tense is made by combining the present tense of "have" or "be" with the past, or second, participle of the main verb.

Du spurgte om "present perfect", og det er førnutid.
Past perfect is a tense that expresses an event in the past that took place before another event in the past.
Examples:
"When Peter arrived I had had my lunch "
"When Joan asked me to call Jack I had already done so "
Det samme gælder for dansk.

The past participle in English is formed by using an auxilliary verb "(to) have" or "be" (and) with the main verb (must be) in the second participle, such as "had eaten*"
(in a participle eks. "eaten")
The past participle in English (will always be "had".) is always formed using the past then of "have" as auxiliary..
The past participle (its something which is earlier than the past tense.) is used about an action completed earlier than another action in the past.
Example, "he found out that I had lied to him."
As (you can) we see, we have "had" in the past tense (perfect) and (we have the suffix on "ed") the main verb, "lied" in the past (second) participle
