Skriv hvis det er :)

På forhånd tak.

The Hispanics will grow!
Since the discovery of the Promised Land, USA, it has been marked by immigration. Up through times, people have achieved to live out the “American dream”. Some of them survived and reached their objectives, while others have to go home or be satisfied with the less. Today USA is a multicultural society, and still a Land of Opportunities with freedom and wealth, especially seen from smaller wealthy eyes. This is why it isn’t surprising that Hispanics now account for nearly 15% of the population in the USA, and are expected to account for more than 20% of the American population in 2050. A very large numbers, but we must also keep in mind that USA was built by immigrants from all over the world.

“Hispanics” or “Latinos” is a name off Latin-Americans immigrants, who are seeking the land of opportunities like all immigrants. In contradistinction to ordinary immigrants, Hispanics does have a lot more to prove for themselves than other types of immigrants. At the same time, the Hispanics are seen poorly in the American society, as it is claimed that the Hispanics are badly educated and a burden for the society.

Positive / Negative?
Hispanics should rather be seen as a helping hand to the system more than a threat. Remember that 57% of all Hispanics do have at least a high school education, and 12 % has gained a bachelor degree in 2004. These people are already qualified to manage all forms of works, if it should be necessary. And, As well as providing a well educated group of people, the Hispanics do also provide USA a helping hand to reduce the high level of unemployment.
The Hispanics are just like everyone else. The only thing that differ them from the rest of the population is the skin color. This might probably create problem in other countries, but not in America, where the population consist of a several of skin colors.

If we turn this thing around and see it from the critic’s point of view, the picture will be completely different. Lots of Americans realizes that illegal workers benefit the American economy, and that lots of sectors, for instance farming, is dependent of illegal working capacity if not the price of labour should arise. Yet are they against that they low-paid Hispanics benefits by the social services such as school, hospital, all things that the American taxpayers must pay for. Even though they also mean that the illegal workers presses the wages too much, so the American workers who are full- time employees can’t keep their old pay. Therefore many Americans request the State to make new laws that stops the opportunities, to make use of social services and to prevent the employers to take on more illegal immigrants.

What is needed to become integrated into the American society?
“The land of opportunities” obviously says it all. In America you create your own destiny, and everybody has the same opportunities even though you are black, poor etc. The only thing, you are expected to, is to work hard to maintain a good society. This is the whole essence for USA, also called “The American dream”. If you do not respect these form of rules, you are not a true citizens of the USA.

The American dream has always take part in to keep a strong society where people live with a magnificent optimism upon life. No matter where you are from, the only thing is that you work hard to maintain a multicultural society and believes in the American dream.

Today USA is a multicultural society, and still a Land of Opportunities with freedom and wealth, especially seen from smaller wealthy eyes (hvad mener du helt præcist? Jeg ville nok sige: … especially seen from the perspective of a less wealthy person). (Er lidt i tvivl her; det er lidt uklar hvad du mener) Yet they are against the fact that the low-paid Hispanics benefit from the social services such as schools, hospitals, all things that the American taxpayers must pay for. Even though they also mean that the illegal immigrants press the wages too much, so the American workers, who are full-time employees, cannot continue to get their old wages. What is needed to become integrated (kan godt bruges men er lidt “fordansket” – måske skulle du bruge assimilated. Har en lidt anden betydning, dog) into the American society?
“The land of opportunities” obviously says it all. In America one creates one’s own destiny, and everybody has the same opportunities even though one is black, poor etc. The only thing, one is expected to do, is to work hard to maintain a thriving society. The American dream has always taken part in keeping a strong society where people live with a magnificently optimistic look upon life. No matter where one is from, the only thing that matters is that one works hard to maintain a multicultural society and believes in the American dream.
