The Flying Trunk - new ending

He had to find a way to get to his bride on. He thought and thought until he remembered his friend Peter butterfly who also lived in the woods.

He called him "Peter, Peter where are you?” There was no answer, but suddenly out of the blue popped up Peter butterfly. "I'm right here you cannot see me?"Said Peter butterfly. Merchant's son was delighted at the sight of his friend. He told Peter butterfly the whole story; that a spark from the firework had set the trunk on fire, and burned to ashes, so he didn’t have any way to reach his pride.

Peter butterfly would be happy to help his friend; the merchant’s son jumped on the back of the butterfly and flew away. They flew over forests, mountains and deserts until they reached the palace where the bride waited impatiently.  The king thanked the butterfly many times.

The merchant's son and the princess were married and now live happily. And Peter butterfly got a place in the king's garden.
