Abstract
In this project I want to explain what a folktale is. Among other things I want to talk about fairytale’s history and what characterize a folktale. After the statement I will analyse and interpret to fairytales: Charles Perrault’s fairytale “La Belle au bois dormant” and The Grimm Brothers’ fairytale in a Danish version “Tornerose”. After the analysis and interpretation I will compare the two fairytales with each other. Then I will discuss a comparison of the two fairytales by Bruno Bettelheim who was a psychiatrist. Finally I will find some reasons why fairytales are still fascinating us in this century.
I have found my knowledge in books and on the Internet. In the statement I will use my secondary material which is books and the Internet. In the analyse I will use a special analyse to fairytales. I have read a lot of fairytales before this project began and with a help from that knowledge I will in the end find out why fairytales still is popular today.
In the two analysis of the two editions “Le Belle au bois dormant” and “Tornerose” you see a big different - especially if you look at the message of the tales. Also the ends of the tales is very different from each other. They also have things in common: For an example the structure and the persons.
Fairytale have existed for many years. A fairytale started as a oral delivering and later on people wrote the tales down. The structure is the same in every fairytale and there are a lot of the same creatures which we see in many fairytales. For an example: An old hag, animals who have been personified and fairies.

In the analysis I will use a special analysis theory on the fairytales. I have read a lot of fairytales before this project began and with the knowledge I've acchived from before I will end my paper with concluding why fairytales still are popular today. HAR DU SKREVET EN GANG (Finally I will discuss why fairytales' still fascinate us in this century.)?

man skal forholde sig objektivt i sit abstract dvs. ingen I eller we.
eksempel:
Skriv ikke: ” I investigate the incidence of…”

Skriv i stedet: The study investigates…”
