Abstract - smid et råd

Jeg forhastede mig lige med det udlæg til mit Abstract. Her er en version med lidt færre stave og grammatik fejl:

This paper accounts for the concept of American exceptionalism, and in which degree it has been implemented in the U.S foreign policies. Additionally, it provides a rhetorical analysis of how the American exceptionalism has been used as a tool of argumentation for the American intervention in Bosnia, as well as the American engagement in the ongoing civil war in Syria. The analysis shows how the concept and self-understanding of USA as an exceptional nation, has shifted since the 1995 Clinton era, to the current era of Barack Obama. Finally, the paper accounts for the positive and negative consequences that may follow a foreign policy, based on a strong exceptional belief. It then evaluates the exceptional-based foreign policy that the US exerts.
Through the work on this assignment, I can conclude that the US does indeed consider themselves exceptional and that being exceptional as a nation, demands a certain capacity in order to maintain the responsibility, which comes with the title.

Klokken er desværre mange, så jeg er så småt på vej i seng, så jeg kan ikke nå at gå i dybden med det hele. 
Men når du skriver et akademisk engelsk (eller skal skrive på et akademisk engelsk), så skal det være akademisk: Man bruger passiv og ikke aktiv. 
Du skriver fx (...) on this assignment, I can conclude that the US (...)". Det skal omskrives til passiv, dvs. i dette tilfælde kunne det fx være:
"I can conclude that" = "it can be concluded that".

Resten må jeg kigge på i morgen.
