This is a paper about the Irish emigration to America. The paper starts out with explaining why the Irish emigrated to America in the years ca. 1840-1900. It explains how the British treated the Irish during the great famine. The paper also gives an analysis of the integration of the immigrants in the American society, based upon self-found material. It shows how the Irish immigrants have left both cultural and political traces in posterity. It especially focuses on how the Irish came from poverty and risked everything by leaving for America and when reaching America they continued with living in poverty. It takes focus on New York, how they were looked down upon and treated by the “native” Americans. The studies made in the paper show how the gangs were a necessity for survival. It shows how the Irish have done great influence to the political areas of America, both back then and today. Also how the Irish culture can be found various places in the America we know today, both with important work positions but also in the entertainment industry and comparable.

Skimming this paper a person will come to learn, that a great number of subjects we use today, actually are ideas and inventions made by the polymaths of the Islamic Golden Age. The paper examines the reasons behind the rise and fall of the Islamic Golden Age, with special reference to the tremendous scientific development, which takes place during the golden age of Islam. The paper also describes and analyzes an example of a greatest achievement developed during this golden period; that of Omar Khayyam and his defined geometric solution of cubic equations. The paper relates the provided example to another example of Gerolamo Cardano, who in the 16th century succeeds in defining a general algebraic solution of cubic equations, though based on mathematically illegal moves. With the invention of the complex numbers, Cardano’s solution is legalized; this paper briefly describes the complex numbers. The paper, draws a conclusion that the developments of the Islamic Golden Age are very prominent and are milestones to the modern mathematical and equally scientific. Even though scientist still are doubtful as to what could have caused this rapid rise and rapid fall, one thing is for sure, it is only the most developed of empires which have the capability to exceed every other nation, both socially as well as educationally, in such a manner.

lyder meget flot :)
Det eneste jeg studsede lidt over var passagen
"The paper, draws a conclusion that the developments of the Islamic Golden Age are very prominent and are milestones to the modern mathematical and equally scientific"

(It???) focuses on New York, how they were downgraded and treated by the “native” Americans. The studies made in the paper show how gangs were a necessity for survival. It shows how the Irish have influenced greatly to the political areas of America, back then and today. Also how the Irish culture can be found various places in the America we know today, both with important work positions but also in the entertainment industry and comparable.

Her er mit bud på dit abstract, jeg har rettet nogle ting, sammenlig med dit og se hvad eg har ændret
