This study examines President Franklin Roosevelt under the great depression in the thirties. Roo-sevelt was chosen to rescue The United States from the great depression for his believe that the depression could be solved by political road. It is reviewed by this paper which reasons Roosevelt saw as the cause of the great depression and how he tried to solve the problems. Some samples of Roosevelt’s speeches in the period of the thirties are analysed by rhetorical linguistic means to show Roosevelt as a rhetorical speaker. This paper discusses two chosen historians’ evaluation on New Deal. It is shown that Roosevelt is a great rhetorical speaker, who has the citizens’ support to his solutions on the great depression. Roosevelt was not able to remove the financial crisis, but his solutions are shown at the American welfare state today.

Jeg ville nok skrive during i stedet for "under the great depression".
Jeg mener at the Great Depression skal være med store bogstaver.
"It is reviewed by this paper which reasons Roosevelt saw as the cause of the great depression and how he tried to solve the problems.", her skal hellere stå noget i stil med "This paper reviews Roesevelt's view on the causes of the Great Depression and how he tried to solve the problems."
Og så skal du måske overveje at skabe lidt mere sammenhæng mellem de enkelte sætninger, jeg synes at der er nogle steder hvor overgangen er lidt hård.
