 Hej

Jeg har skrevet mit engelske resume, og håbede på at der var nogen, der ville læse den igennem og rette for eventuelle fejl og eventuelle mangler.

The study investigates the physical balance of the body at malnutrition and what impact it has on an athletic performance. The reasons for the development of sports anorexia and how this can be avoided will be estimated. Anorexia is a prevalent disease, which most often affects teenage girls or elite athletes. Anorexia has some physiological implications. In sporting contexts you talk about the female athlete triad. It describes the interaction between athletes’ lack of intake of nutrients, absent menstruation and weakening of bones. Reduced hormone production results in amenore and brittle-bone disease. At malnutrition muscles are being decomposed and it has consequences for the athlete. Their performance will decrease as the muscle strength disappears. In Danish elite swimming has it recently been published that some of the swimmers have eating disorders. The reason is the weight control of the head coach of the Danish national team, Paulus Wildeboers, which includes public weighings of his swimmers. In general does a coach has a big influence when it comes to athletes getting eating disorders. If the coach handles the possible weight problems the right way, maybe the disorders can be avoided.
