Jeg har en dansk artikel, som jeg skal oversætte til i morgen. Den er måske lidt kringlet, fordi det ikke er en 'autoriseret' oversættelsestekst, men en artikel fra Politiken.

Legetøjsfirmaet Blue Box Toys i Hongkong har fået en genial ide, synes det da i hvert fald da selv. Firmaet har fremstillet en 30 centimeter høj udgave af præsidenten i plastic i fuld flyveruniform og redningsvest, som kækt bærer sin flyverhjelm og iltmaske.
Bare ved beskrivelsen på distributørens KBtoys hjemmeside (www.kbtoys.com), hvor dukken har det imponerende navn ‘Elite Force Aviator: George W. Bush – U.S. Præsident and Naval Aviator’, bliver man helt stakåndet.
Dukken er en nøjagtig kopi af Bushs fremtræden på hangarskibet USS Abraham Lincoln 1. maj, da han landede på skibet ud for Californiens kyst i et S-3B Viking-fly. Hangarskibet var netop kommet tilbage fra Irak, og præsidenten proklamerede bramfrit, at større kamphandlinger i Irak nu var et overstået kapitel.

The doll is an exact copy of Bush’s appearance on the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln on the 1. May, as he landed on the ship alongside California’s coast in a S-3B Viking aircraft. The carrier had just returned from Iraq, and the president bluffly declared that major combat now was a closed chapter.
