hej alle sammen, jeg skulle spørge om en af jer ville se om jeg har forstået princippet i en abstract da det er første gang jeg skriver en er jeg meget i tvivl om der er de ting en abstract skal indeholde :)

This paper examines how the Ottoman empire, went from being an monarchy to a modern republic in a short period of time, a  monarchy that fits into a European civilization since Turkey was far from being, part of the modernized world back in the Ottoman empire. The text focuses on the methods Mustafa Kemal Ataturk used to form the republic, and in what ways he managed to change widely accepted conversative beliefs among Turkish citizens, and made secularism acceptable as a part of their identity. To clarify the situation in today’s modern Turkey the final product will tell whether or not secularism is a problem in Turkey. To achieve a good result, I’ve been examining books about Atatürk, and secularism in Turkey. The results points out that Atatürk did turn Turkey into a modernized republic, but the citizens hadn’t fully denounced conservatism. Instead the Turks split into groups of those who wanted conservatism and those who wanted secularism, and in this way the first democratic Muslim country was born. As for the situation in Turkey, the status of being a fully Europeanized country still seems far off, and many more improvements need to be made.
