Why has history always forgotten the women?
All history books are about men and men’s decisions, and though half of the world has always been women.
How did they live, what did they do, what thoughts did they have, what did they think of live? These are some of the things, as female research workers have started begun to show interest for.
One of then says:” When I went to school, the women were described as passive and reactionaries. But I could not accept this prejudice. Nor that the women were forgotten. So therefore I now work with this new writing of history.
Of course I think that history should be about people and not only about women. But right now it is very important to concentrate about women, because they have been completely neglected. There it is very important to criticise the old-fashioned history books, written by men about men. In stead we have to write new history books, so women can read bout women and thereby edify a historical identity.
Only if the young generation of women learn to respect their "....” can learn to respect themselves.

why has history always forgotten women?
All hostory books are about men and men's decisions, even though half of the world population has always been women.
How did they live, what did they do, what thoughts did they have of life? These are some of the things (questions) that female scientists have started to show interest in.
One of them says; "When I went to school, the women were descibed as passive and reactionare. But I could not this prejudice. Nor that the women were forgotten. That is why I am now working on this new writing of history.
Of course I think that history should be about people and not just about women. But right now it is very important to focus on women because they have been completely neglected. It is therefore very important to critizise the oldfashioned history books so that women can read about women and by that (ellere thereby) build a historical identity.
Only if the women of the young generation learn to respect their female ancestors, they can learn to respect themselves.
