Bowling for Columbine

hej! Nogen der er interesseret i at rette en spændende stil? Hope so, da jeg ikke kan få hjælp af andre. Stilen r t på tirs. på forhånd tak. Dette er første del:

“The school is in panic and I’m in the library, (...) I’ve got students down. Kids, under the table! ... Oh God! Oh God! Kids, just stay down Do we know where he’s at? I’m in the library. He’s upstairs. He’s right outside of here.” (From the article ‘Anatomy of a massacre’ p.76,m)
On the morning of Tuesday 20 April 1999 in the middle-class town of Littleton, Colorado, USA, Eric Harris (18) and Dylan Klebold (17) began a rampage through the corridors of Columbine High School that ultimately ended their own lives and those of thirteen others; twenty-five more were injured.

Today in America, there are many problems facing students. One of these problems is that of school shootings. People bring guns to school and blow away their classmates. But what is it that makes students kill other students? Is it, as some people claim, violent TV shows and films? Or is it lack of parental involvement? Or maybe it is easy access to guns?
According to Mike Moore the reasons why children become killers are especially caused by the priority of violence and death in the media. These fearsome news are resulting in ‘a culture of fear’ where everyone are ready to shoot and kill. But actually the murder instalment has not grown. According to the documentary the murder instalment in USA has fallen with 20, whereas the covering of murder and violence in the media has grown with 600. This pattern is, after my opinion, also seen in Denmark. Violence is becoming a greater part of the news, which apparently has caused that a lot of young people begin to carry weapons, and are not afraid to use them! But even though the documentary tells that the murder instalment has fallen, there are still too many innocence that gets killed without a reason (11.127 in the US!)
