Life gets easier and funnier with the futures robots, and we will see a lot more to them, as they get capable to carry out (flere) different duties. It is one of the conclusions in FN’s rapport “World Robotics 2003”.
On longer term the robots get everyday tools for the human. They will not only wash our floors and cut our grass, but also assist older and handicapped, carry out/do operations and put out the fire.
Sofar have the robots particularly been used in the motor industry, but in 2002 (sås) the biggest growth in sale of household robots. At the end of 2002 were there in internationally sold more than 50.000 robots for private use, but (man) anticipates, that this number already will be considerable larger in 2006, and that the robots (arbejdsområde) will be considerable extended. For example is it expected, that the sale of entertainment robots (vil stige kraftigt). The growth on the robot market is first of all due to falling prices and technological progresses.

Line 1. the robots of the future

3.it=this; ...in the UN report...
5. get=becomes; the human= humankind (without "the")
6. cut our grass= mow our lawns
7. older= senior citizens; perform operations
8. "put out fires"
9. "So far" (separate words) "robots have been used particular in..."
10. "...but 2002 saw the biggest..."
11-12. position of words: "at the end of 2002 more than 50,000" (comma in English) "robots were sold for private use internationally"
13. "however, it is expected..." that...; "already" after "will"
14. "robots'" apostrophy after s
15. arbejdsområde= work expertice, perhaps
16-17. vil stige kraftigt= will increase dramatically
17. on=of
I might have been a bit harsh correcting this but I think this is a very good translation so all you need are the details.
