Jeg har fået til opg. at oversætte en dansk opg. til engelsk.
Den ser således ud:
"The nuclear-weapon testings in Nevada took place in the winter of 1951. On the 11th January the Nuclear-energy Commission distributed leaflets, framed in black, informing people in the area, that there will be test performed on the proving ground in the future and admonished people to stay away from the area. Furthermore it was announced in the local newspaper and warned as well the people to stay away. Shortly after these warnings were sent, the first nuclear testings took place."
Ser det nogenlunde korrekt ud, og kan I finde nogle stave- og grammafejl?

Linje 2: January 11th eller 11th of January
linje 4: would be a test performed eller tests performed (hold øje med tid og tal i den danske tekst)
linje 5: admonishing (skal have samme form som informing)
Furthermore-sætningen holder ikke. Uden at kende den danske sætning, vil jeg foreslå sådan noget som
"Furthermore it was announced in the local newspaper along with a warning to stay away"
linje 8: sent out
linje 4: would be a test performed eller tests performed (hold øje med tid og tal i den danske tekst)
linje 5: admonishing (skal have samme form som informing)
Furthermore-sætningen holder ikke. Uden at kende den danske sætning, vil jeg foreslå sådan noget som
"Furthermore it was announced in the local newspaper along with a warning to stay away"
linje 8: sent out
