Penny was happy (t) that the plane landed safely (b). She and the rest of the crew had been very (b) worried (t) when the captain calmly (b) informed them that one of the engines wasn’t working properly (b). If they didn’t land soon, he had said, it might catch fire.

The others informed the passengers, and immediately (b) there was a panic. Some people were yelling hysterically (b), some were trying to answer their children’s questions, while other children, who were on their own, were crying desperately (b), calling for their parents.
