She was also seen close-up the 20th of august 1952 when Mrs Greta Finlay, who lives in Inverness sat by her caravan on a parking space at Torr Point. She heard some splashing in the water and saw the monster appears right in front of her, that close to the bank, that she declares, that she >>could have hit Nessie with a pebble.
Today, Nessie is haunted by professional “monster-hunters”, who explore the lake with sonar equipment and small submarines, which are equiped with infrared cameras. A sonar intercepted a creauture, which sent out some air bubbles and moved with high speed through the water. Was Nessie found? The newspapers were enthusiastic, but the thought was rejected of scientists from British Museum, who meant it was a trunk, which rushed through the water because of gasification in it’s rotten interior.
That sounds fair. But if you sit with your camera on the bank of the lake an early morning while the morning fogs shrouds the lake in an unrealistic atmosphere, you cannot avoid notiseing the strange ripples on the surface of the water. And even though you of course is not superstitious it would after all not surprice one to see a little head on a long, supple neck appearing from the water.
