How to tell a winner
Concerning the poem, it tells the difference between a winner and a loser. I think the poem transforms the loser to “the bad guy”, who is egoistic, self-centred and focused on promises to him- or herself. The poem tells how the loser, because of his/her down trip, becomes irresponsible and critical to other people and things, and thereby rejects his/her status and honesty further, than it is in advance. The winner, on the other hand, is being mentioned as a “hero” who in spite of his/her victory, still has energy and power, to spread out his/her happiness to other people, and thereby transfer allot of pleasure to people. I think it is because the winners always get all the attention, that the losers often becomes isolated in the winners veil of success. The winner will always try to improve him- or herself, especially now, when he/she knows, that a lot of people are supporting him/her, and always will do in his/hers efforts to improve. While the loser doesn’t want to develop him/her self, and if someone are better than them, they will1 try to make people look bad and idiotic. And then the winner also is more social presented than the loser, understood in the way that the winner surely would like to hear and to be learned by others, while the loser just want to be as he/she always has been. But why can’t we not just live and adjust our brains after the message : lose and win with the same mind? I think the reason for this is, that if people just are careless if they win or not, there wouldn’t be any point in having a winner and a loser. Moreover you will not develop you skills, because “why should I develop my self, when the result doesn’t matter”. But if you have developed yourself too much, you will begin to expect that you always will win. If you lose you will then be angry with yourself and others, and also lose the feeling for development. When “ why should I develop myself when I am still not going to win?” now will be reality. You can say, that the loser's very negative attitude is the way, that the loser is “surviving” his/her inferiority. While the winner, who doesn’t have these problems, constantly is occupied trying to become better. The question is then, if the winner, because of his/her occupation, will be the “loser”, and the loser, because of his/her survival, will be the “winner”.
For me a winner doesn’t have to be defined in an individual performance, but merely something, someone has done, which no one else has been able to do. An example of my winners, are the comedy series, “clown” /klovn, because I think it’s the first Danish series ever, who has managed to be so genuinely funny. In the series proper jokes are forbidden, and the intention is to make humour, out of normal painful, and discreet tomfoolery situations, which takes place, when every normal people makes a fools of themselves, of this the title – “clown”. “Clown is consequently successful due, to the mix of realistic everyday life, and the norms as following it, together with the way of presenting the problems, which occur in the everyday life, and which most of all people from their own everyday life’s have knowledge to, and can relate to, and associate with. And these humour factors involved, that people laughs of the very ironically satirically and disciplinary humour, coming out of it. And as they say themselves, the series is based on “ real events”, as an expression on that realism and development, the series has taking it’s starting point from. In the series, the humour shall happen, by that the actors trying to be them self’s. Understood in the way, that the only thing, the actors have, when they are going to film a new episode, is a storyline, which mean that they knows, what’s going to occur, but they don’t have a manuscript to look at, and practice on. So when the cameras are filming for the first time, the actors have to improvise ahead to the planed action, through their own personally and behaviour. Consequently they are just playing themselves, and makes that figure they really are, so thereby this results in some very funny situations, and dialogues between the actors, which as I said, is very funny to lessening and looking at – in my opinion.
In “clown” the main actors are Frank Hvam, Mia Lyhne, Casper Christensen and Iben Hjejle. And these names, are also the names, they are using in the series. This is of course conscious done by “clown”, because it’s a very important facet, in that atmosphere/spirit they are trying to make. Likewise they are also using known people from the real world, in the series, and they also use
their real names, and their real status, exactly like in the real world. Contributory have example Jarl Friis Mikkelsen, Ole Bornedal, Steen Jørgensen, Michael Carøe, Don ø and a lot of other known people. The point is then, that the viewers, should be in doubt about, if these known and sympathetic people, just are simply fiction, or real fact. Because that’s the procedure to the very thrilling, but still slowly humour. Namely because it’s not proper and planed jokes, that have to be funny, but merely the surroundings. And when people get the change, to play themselves, they also have the possibility to step up their personally more than normal, also the bad sides. Such as the viewers can identify, either themselves, or other well – known people, with concerned persons.
In the series Casper Christensen is girlfriend with Iben Hjejle - like in the real world, while Frank Hvam is girlfriend with Mia Lyhne.
Fundamental, the action in “clown” is based on different problems with Casper and Frank involved, that happen for nearly every people, In their everyday life. But in “clown” these problems are blazes much more, than normal, and nearly every time, Casper and Frank stays together as friends, and swear, that they together! will overcome this. But as usual Casper is always backing out, when it becomes serious, and thereby become an arrogant idiot to Frank. This is of course a big part, of that message “clown” wish to give people. Because in the real world, lot of people thinks, that Casper Christensen is very arrogant, and by showing this big arrogance from Casper in “Clown”, it’s meaning, that people shall have their prejudices confirmed, so people can make their own censors in this.
One of mine favourite episodes is “Sommerhuset”/summerhouse. In this episode are Casper, Frank, Mia and Iben going to a summerhouse, near the water- a nice weekend, with relaxation and nice comfort. Frank and Casper drives in their own car, and the girls in another. On the way up there, Frank and Casper, are picking up some hot Jung girls, just to give them a ride, which later shows to be a bad idea. But Frank, Casper, Mia and Iben, comes up to the summerhouse, and everything are just going fine. They are merry going to the beach, and while they are lien and taking sun, Mia and Iben ask Casper and Frank, if they want to go in the water with them, after which booth of them says- no, “because they are not swimming in the Danish cold water”. So while Iben and Mia, are swimming, Casper and frank takes a walk down the beach, and drinking some wine. And suddenly they are seeing to girls, which are the girls, they were giving a ride. They begin talking, and then the to hot Jung girls gives the same question like Mia and Iben, namely about if Casper and frank wants to go in the water with them, and in contrast to before, they are now saying yes, and after that, they are going in the water with the to girls. They are having lot of fun in the water, until Frank is so unlucky to hurt his penis, by a stinging jellyfish, and the lifesaver saves now the very pitiable frank from “drowning”, and while he totally naked is lien at the beach, getting cream on his penis, the girls are looking at it, but where Casper of course takes them away, because – this is to ugly for them, and thereby he becomes kind of a hero. When Casper and Frank comes back to Mia and Iben in the summerhouse, Mia and Iben, ask them about, where they have been, after which Frank and Casper tells them, that they just were swimming alone, and that Frank was unlucky to hurt his penis on a stinging jellyfish. But just when they have said that, The to Jung girls are coming, to hear how it goes with Franks penis – sounds very distrustfully. This releases a big discussion, and very slowly Casper is Chancing side, and tells Mia and Iben, that it was Franks fault at all, and that he all the time, has tried to stop Frank, and tell him, that these things are wrong. Which is totally upturned, when the truth is, that it was Casper, that wanted to do all these things, against want frank told him. Everyone besides Frank, are leaves the place, and Frank ended again as a “Clown”.
All the “clown” series is instructed by Frank Hvam and Casper Christensen themselves, and I think they are winners, because they have gained to make a good series, with such a plain but still funny humour. Besides that, I think their message, and things they are showing the Danish people with their series is just so cool. And I think, that they have catch the red thread, this realistic, and vulgar humour is just planed after my taste.

1. "you can... inferiority". I stedet for hele den sætning kan du skrive følgende: the loser survive his/her inferiority by behaving neg. /by an neg. attitude.
enig med #5!- læs den højt for dig selv...
