I don’t agree with his definition of a racist, because I think that everyone should stand up for their own rights, and everyone should preserve and protect their own rights. That’s something everyone does, everyone has some rights and some heritages they want to keep. An example could be the Muslims in Denmark; they want to preserve their religion with still going in mosque, because they have the rights and therefore they want to preserve and protect the rights they have. That doesn’t mean the Muslims are racist, if they only love their heritages and wants to preserve them, and they are respecting other peoples heritages and rights. Like Martin Luther King said; he looked forward to se the blacks and whites living in peace and respecting each others heritages and rights.
The difference between being a racist and not is that, if you are a racist your heritages is build on that only what you are doing and meaning is right, and better. You don’t respect other people’s heritages and rights. You will see yourself as a better and as a more intelligent person than other race of people.
I think he choose that definition to tells us readers that they actually aren’t racists. They are just preserving their heritages and rights. Because what he describes as a racist isn’t a racist, he knows that. And therefore he has no problems with calling himself a racist. But I think he knows that people don’t call them racists only for what he has written. There is more.
