They will come ten minutes after class has begun. They have not done their homework, they have forgotten their books at home, and they are disturbing the class by talking loud to the person sitting next to them, they are going inside and outside the class, as they please and they are going twenty minutes before the class is finished so they can reach the bus.
This is how many high-school-teachers describe the students of today. The teachers have witnessed to that growing numbers of students who act exactly as they want and refuse to take any responsibility so that something reasonable comes out of the teaching.
But what is the reason? Has the high-school become boring or are the students simply spoiled? Have the internet and the video game destroyed the young ones ability to concentrate?
There are many questions and few answers, but one thing seems to be sure: The young ones have not become stupid and they are still formed by this culture they have grown in up.

Jeg oversatte lige din tekst:
They come ten minutes after the lesson has begun. They have not done their homework, have forgotten their books at home, are disrupting the lecture/class by talking loudly with the person sitting next to them, they walk in and out of class as they please, and leave twenty minutes before the lesson is over so they can reach the bus.
This is how many high-school teachers describe students of today. The teachers have been witnessing, anxiously, that an increasing number of students act completely the way they want to, and refuse to take any responsibility for there being any sensible results/outcome of their classes/lessons.
But what could be the cause? Has high-school become too boring, or are the students simply pampered? Has the internet and videogames corrupted young people’s ability to concentrate?
There are a lot of questions and only a few answers, but one thing seems to be certain: (Jeg tror du evt. Har skrevet forkert her, det gi’r ellers ingen mening. "Unge" istedet for "unger", ikke?) The young people have not become more stupid, and they are continuously shaped by the culture in which they have been brought up.
