Part B:
In the novel Amina, you meet a young English girl with a foreign background. The girl is called Amina, and is a Muslim. Amina lives with her parents in a small house divided in a living room and a shop. That’s why Amina always smelt a little bit funny and why she often stood by her self in the school bus. Both her parents are working in the shop, so Amina had a lot of time just for her self. That’s why Amina often killed her time by watching some meaningless television. When Amina wasn’t home, she’d go in a public school, and that are were you first meet her in the novel.
Aminas teacher had given the children an assignment, to paint the baby Jesus and Mary. Amina does that with a great enthusiasm, and paints her picture with a coloured Mary. The teacher then lies and told her that the picture was to beautiful to be hanging around the boring school walls so he suggested that she brought it home.
I think that the way the teacher are reacting on Aminas painting are one of the main conflicts in this story. Why couldn’t Amina just had painted Mary as a coloured woman, was he afraid that some of the other parents would get offended, or what was it that drove the teacher to lie to a child. That’s a big conflict. Another conflict in the story is why didn’t the teacher knew that a Muslim wasn’t aloud to paint another religious people. Are there really such great distance between Christians and Muslims, that we don’t know anything about each others religion, and how to behave when we are facing a religious problem, between to religions. A good example of that is the teacher. He lied to Amina so she would bring the picture with her home, but the teacher just didn’t thought about the problems he could have made by doing that. What if the father first had seen the picture, instead of the mother. That would have been a giant family problem. And that’s all because of the distance between to religions knowledge to each other.

Øv dig dig lidt i at huske at "Are" er til flertal og "Is" er til ental.
+ lidt engelsk kommasætning.
Ellers ser det sku fint nok ud, ikke de store fejl og mangler :)
