The hero of the new film "Robots" is Rodney Copperbottom, Rivet Towns most promissing young robot. Rodneys birth was when his parents finished putting him together from a do-it.yourself kit. His mother remark was that he was worth the 12 hours hard work. Rodneys dream is so become an inventor, and he makes a tiny robot to relieve his fathers workload. he also repairs chrildrens toys. As a grown robot Rodney travels to Robot City, where he wants to fulfil old robots needs for spare parts. Rodney gets to know Fender, whose friends are the Rusties, a group of worn robots. One of them acts like a dog that keeps barking and wagging its tail. With the Rusties help Rodney defeats Robt Towns villain Ratchet.
