Hjælp? Anyone?

Hej alle dejlige mennesker.
Jeg har haft store problemer med oversættelser. Er der nogle der vil kukke min igennem og påpege fejl?
Tak...
For the fishermen in Cascobay in Maine, where I have spent my vacation by studying the animal life for several years, this year’s season has been worse than usual. Neither my neighbour nor I could understand what had become of the salmon and tuna. “I have never seen the bay so quiet”, he said. “Even the seagulls are gone”.
Like my neighbour I missed the sight of those screaming, white birds, when they circled over the shoals of fish and now and then suddenly ducked down against the surface of the bay. I wondered how they should be equal to do after the fish had gone other places. I decided to keep a lookout for them. Each day I searched the sky to find out if the birds still were in this part of the country so that we at least could expect them back, when – and if – the fish came back.
My research is over. I have found the birds and at the same time done quite a lot of observations who ought to interest both sociologists and ornithologists. Most of the time you can see the seagulls near by the local shopping centre, which also sells ice and sausages. Now they circle around the advertising signs and keep as careful an eye as they once did it with the fishing boats. Not as soon has a blob of ice cream hit the asphalt before the seagulls alight on it. With their enormous appetite they are busy all day long, yes you can se them duck after food in the touch of the neon lights until late at night.
