Thank you for your letter from the 24 Marts. We understand that you are concerned about; it is getting easier for companies to target their advertising to children.
We do not agree herein. There are many good arguments for new research future on, that even very young child is capable to see though advertising. Moreover we think that advertising plays an important part. They apple to the children imagination and is both informative and telling about new products.
We will tough not completely refuse over your application. Therefore are we considering keeping two- hours breaks on each side of the children programs. We do not wish to capitalize children’s vulnerability or take part to create problems among children.
With this we feel that we have done so much, as possible. We hope that you are satisfied with our answer.

Tak for deres brev af 24. marts. Vi forstår at De er bekymret over, at der bliver lettere for virksomheder at målrette deres reklamer mod børn.
Vi er ikke enige heri. Der er mange gode argumenter for reklamer ny forskning tyder på, at selv meget unge børn er i stand til at gennemskue reklamer. Desuden mener vi, at reklamer spiller en vigtig rolle. De appellerer til børn fantasi fantasi og er både oplysende og fortæller om nye produkter.
Vil vil dog ikke være helt afvisende over for Deres henvendelse. Derfor overvejer vi at beholde to-timers pausen på hver side af børneprogrammerne. Vi ønsker ikke at udnytte børns sårbarhed eller medvirke til at skabe problemer for børn.
Hermed føler vi, at vi har strakt os så langt, som vi overhovedet kan. Vi håber, at De er tilfreds med vores svar.

Thank you for your letter from 24 of September. We understand you, that you are worried that it is getting easier for campaigns to targeting their advertisements against children.
We do not agree here. There are many good arguments for advertisements. New research seems to show, that even very young children is able to see through the advertisements. Furthermore we think that advertisements are playing a big rule. They appeal to children’s imagination and are both informative and entertaining. The advertisement contains much useful information and tells about new products.
However, we will not be totally dismissive to your enquiry. Therefore we are considering keeping the two-hour break at each side of the children programmes. We do not wish to use children’s sensitivity or co-corporate to create problems for children.
By this we feel that we have stretched us as altogether much as we can. We hope that you are satisfied with our respond.
