Heroes or what?

In the western countries many women want to leave their home to get a job. Wishes like this are rare among the women in the Soviet Union. They dream about to leave the labour market, so that they can take care of their husband and children.
In the big cities they work in the factories and in the country on the collective farms, where they must work machines and take care of sheep, pigs, calves, gooses and so on.
The soviet authorities claim that there is equality between the genders, but the soviet women say that this is not true. The husbands do not help enough, so the women actually have two workplaces. They often work for 80 hours a week, while the husbands only work for 50.
There are not many shops. There is shortage in goods and long queues outside the shops, and this is specially a problem for the women. There are many bad houses, and often many people lives together in collective apartments without modern facilities.

- Leaving (hvilket du i øvrigt skrev forkert)
