N’goolas story

Resume
Mary lives with her man in the outskirts. She lives with her aboriginal roots but tries to keep her home clean after white standards, as she’s been told to by the whites in her childhood. Her man doesn’t like this.
One day an old man comes to her and asks if there is a N’goola in the native camp. She doesn’t really notice him and passes on. In the evening she feels guilty and from her house she can hear and see him, sitting at a fire singing about N’goola. She doesn’t know who her family is either, but she’s a mixture of white and black, kind of a yellowish skin. She was not allowed to know anything about her family. She is curious and wants to hear the story about this girl. As she sits around the fire listening to the story of N’goola, she step by step realizes that the girl in fact is herself. The old man, Gwelnit, is weak from searching for N’goola for 30 years. In the end she reveals that she is that N’goola he has been looking for.
