Jim ved også at det ikke nytter noget at spørge forældrene. Ingen af dem ved noget om emnet.
3. Neither his father nor mother is/are interested in economy.
Hverken hans far eller mor er interesseret I økonomi.
4. If I were (was) Jim, I would go to the library and try to get some information.
Hvis jeg var Jim, ville jeg tage på biblioteket og prøve at skaffe nogle oplysninger.

1. Jim knows what hyperinflation is, but he does not understand what it is that starts it. ("starts" = lyder som om at det skal være et andet ord, der relaterer bedre til hyperinflation, som jeg ikker er sikker på havd betyder, men jeg har ikke selv noget bedre bud lige nu.)
2. Jim also knows that it is no use asking his parents. Neither of them know anything about the subject.
