If you give a murder death penalty, because he killed another person, should you have death penalty yourself? If Denmark got any kind of death penalty, I would be sitting on the first flight out of the country. Denmark is a country, which protects its moral. The citizens rights, freedom of speech, health service and the social security. Why not respect for human life? In USA you have another view on criminals, than you have in Denmark. There is another mentality in USA, where they see criminals as trash for the society. In Denmark you see the criminals as humans in trouble. An import of death penalty would bring us closer the American society, so the question is: Do we want to be America?
Personally I am complete against the death penalty. I can’t believe that no one in this world, has the right to ‘pretend’ to be God, and decide if a person has the right to live or not. I think it is an inhuman and degrading kind of punishment. These animals, as we treat them, can still feel pain, they know suffering, and they still have rights. the process is continued until the prisoner is dead.

If we make Denmark an ”eye for an eye- Country” it is simply not a proper society. Having said that, I wonder: When it’s such a huge crime to kill it wound not be fair if the government has the right kill –legal. Importation of death penalty would make Denmark a country I personally don’t want to live in.
