I had never flown before so I was quite nervous when I arrived to the airport. Maybe that’s why I bought two bottles of whisky and 400 American cigarettes at the duty-free shop, though I neither smoke nor drink. I went in the cafeteria, bought a small cup of tea and sat down at a table by the window. From there I could see planes on the runway. All of them were much smaller than I had thought. I began to look at the people in the cafeteria. There were businessmen, journalists and Japanese tourists, a young couple with two cute little girls, a small dark-haired man with sunglasses and an odd, long, black leather bag, a hijacker, maybe? No wonder, I was nervous.
