Synopses

Justification for selection:
We shall be talking to you audience about the hindu gods, because there is most exciting in the Hindu, and because it is the most surprising.

Facts about the Hindu:
• The Hindu is the world’s third biggest and oldest religion.
• There is approximately 750 mill operations Hindus around the world.
• Also the Hindus have some holy scriptures which is called Sanskrit. Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages.
• Hindus don’t call their religion Hindu, but they use the term Santana dharma, which means the eternal world order.
• Hindus believe the soul reborn several times in the life. Hindus believe that if you are a really good person so the person becomes a priest after death, and if the person is a bad person then he/she will become a rat.
• Hindus are divided into four castes. They have that because you can only married someone from the same caste or from the over caste. No one wants to be married to a person from the under caste.
• Hindus have many celebrate. If you count the letters, It shows party every other days. The most famous party is Holi, divali, dassehra, navaratri and raksha bandhan.
• Hindus do not have a founder, so there is always something new appears.

Gods of the hindu

We shall tell you about the Hindu gods. The Hindus has gods in millions. The gods described as normal peoples with a family and have feeling. They can be in a good or bad mood. They have three important gods, with name Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu. They are married with three others goddesses. Shiva is married with Parvati. Parvati is the mother goddess. As a goddess she described for the beauty and the gentle goddess. There are not so many Hindus, as pray Shiva today. It’s roughly ¼ of all Hindus in the world as worshiped Shiva. Shiva is the destroyed one, and sounds terrify. They have a son with name Ganesha. Ganesha is god of wisdom and happiness. Ganesha is an impossible god. Shiva came to chop his head, at a mistake of a fit of rage. Brahma is married with Saraswati. She is goddess of music and learning. There are many Hindu-students as pray to her before the exam. Vishnu is married with Lakshmi. She is goddess of beauty, happiness and prosperity. The most Hindus pray to her in the divali-party. The Hindus meaning that the, Hindu gods has developed whole the world. And if a time destroyed, so they create a new one. Vishnu worshiped under different names, because he came to the world in different times, in different cities.

Kære alle,

Det er prisværdigt at studerende vælger at afsætte tid til at hjælpe andre. Når dét så er sagt, kunne jeg tænke mig at de hjælpende ånder udviser lidt større selvkritik og -indsigt og ikke kaster sig frådsende over opgaver, hvor de efterlader samme antal fejl som der var i forvejen, hvis da ikke flere.

Omend jeg kun hurtigt kastede et blik på Richards svar foroven, spottede jeg omgående kongruensfejl (verber såvel som pers. pronomina), danismer, sætninger der ikke giver mening, diverse stavefejl og brug af sammentrækninger (contractions).

Nu kan Fatmas synopsis ikke have været af den største vigtighed, siden hun spørger om hjælp i, formoder jeg, sidste øjeblik, men de der spørger efter hjælp her på sitet - folkeskoleelever såvel som gymnasister - fortjener altså at få et korrekt og brugbart svar. Som jeg altid siger: "advice on the English language and its intricacies is best left to those properly able to give it."

Pointen er såmænd bare denne: hvis man ikke er tilstrækkelig god til engelsk til at kunne hjælpe andre med deres opgavebesvarelser, gør man klogest i at blande sig udenom.

Der er mildest talt ikke tale om kun "et par fejl". Hvornår skal du bruge den? Det kan være jeg når at se den igennem i aften - for, og det er ikke for at være flabet, sådan som teksten står i Richards version står du til minuskarakter på begge skalaer, selv for folkeskolens standard. Undskyld jeg siger det.

Ak, "rette" et eller andet... Endnu et verbum hvori der er gået inflation. 

Da jeg skrev "se den igennem", mente jeg ikke at servere alt for dig på et sølvfad. Ain't no such thing as a free lunch, luv. Jeg har derimod markeret de sætninger og/eller ord der er fejl i, og så er det op til dig at lægge knolden i blød og pudse lidt på teksten. En god ordbog er bestemt at anbefale.

Grammatiske fejl og stavefejl er i fed skrift, usammenhængende syntaks i kursiv, stilistiske problemer / forkert ordvalg er understreget. Jeg har også understreget ord der har bedre og mere passende synonymer, såvel som s.k. danismer, dvs. bogstavelige oversættelser fra dansk. Igen et spørgsmål om brug af ordbog.

Gør i.ø. dig selv den tjeneste at du finder ud af forskellen mellem ordene "Hindu", "Hindi" og "Hinduism".

Det danske "som" kan være både et adverbium (eng.: as) eller et relativt pronomen (who, whom, which, that). Se din tekst igennem og prøv at afgøre om du har brugt "as" korrekt alle steder.

• Hindus don’t call their religion Hindu, but they use the term Santana dharma, which means the eternal world order. [eller 'the eternnal law' -- hér må du dobbelttjekke dine kilder.]
• Hindus believe the soul reborn several times in the life. Hindus believe that if you are a really good person so the person becomes a priest after death, and if the person is a bad person then he/she will become a rat.
