Det her er hvad jeg regner med at fortælle om emnet.

I chose this song because I vision it is really cute, yet sad.
Molly Malone is a young fishmonger who went around Dublin's streets with his wheelbarrow for about 300 years ago, she went and wept "cockle and mussels: alive, alive oh!" Her dad and mom did the same before her, but one day went she went and died of fever and no one could save her, so now her ghost goes around and sings "cockle and mussels: alive, alive oh" while it tries to sell shellfish.
She is a fictional character as there were many around the time named Molly Malone, nevertheless have been one who died on June 13 in 1699 from fever, and today is Thursday, June 13 Molly Malone days in Ireland and there are a large statue of her in Dublin.
Although Molly died in 1699, the first song was written down in 1883 in Usa, I believe, however even that has lived a bit like a fairy tale before it was written down, the song is also Ireland's unofficial national anthem, as several clubs have spent as battle song in different versions.
The song is really sweet and sad, and written in a good melody that will never be too old. Although it is sad it is written on a happy tune. It will also continue to emerge, eg. Johnny Logan has made his version of the
