Er der, som vil være venlig at rette eventuelle fejl i min indtil videre boganmeldelse af 'The Canterville Ghost'?

This book, The Canterville Ghost, is written by the Irish author, Oscar Wilde. He is a well-known name in English literature. He has written a lot of poems and short stories.

The story begins when the American Otis family moves into the old Canterville Castle in England, despite warnings from Lord Canterville that the house is haunted by a ghost, Sir Simon. The Otis family includes Mr. and Mrs. Otis, their daughter Virginia, the Otis boy twins and their eldest son, Washington. At first, none of the Otises believe in ghosts, but shortly after they move in, none of them can deny the presence of Sir Simon. The family hears clanking chains, they witness reappearing bloodstains, which are removed every time they appear in various colours. But, humorously, none of these seem scare the Otis family the least. In fact, upon hearing the clanking noises in the hallway, Mr. Otis gets out of bed and offers the ghost to oil his chains, and Mrs. Otis offers him medicine. Despite Sir Simon's attempts to appear in the most gruesome guises, the family refuses to be frightened, and Sir Simon feels increasingly helpless and humiliated. Only the daughter of the family, Virginia, has sympathy and feels sorry for the ghost. Virginia is different from everyone else in the family, and Sir Simon recognizes this. He tells her, that he has not slept in three hundred years and wants desperately to do so. The ghost reveals to Virginia the tragic tale of his wife, which he killed. Sir Simon says that Virginia must cry for him, because he has no tears; she must pray for him, because he has no faith; and then she must accompany him to the Garden of Death. She does cry for him and pray for him, and she disappears with him and goes with him to the Garden of Death. Then she reappears at midnight, through a panel in the wall, carrying jewels and with news that Sir Simon has passed on to the next world and no longer lives in the house. The story ends with Virginia getting married to her friend, Cecil.
