A mistake
Two brothers who always was in debt, was one time in a association, where they amuse oneself very well, until the elder by looking out of the window discovered policeman who came walking
Towards the house. “Fred” He said to his brother, “this policeman comes to arrest me.
It will be too awkward to be arrest here tonight. Will you not go out and let him take you?
You can explain to him his mistake about a half hour, and then he will let you go.
Det syntes tydeligt nok. Fred went out to the policeman who bowed politely and did excuses, because he had to arrest him.
On the way to the police station Fred said that he wish to buy something in a shop.
He didn’t hope that the policeman was busy.
“Not at all” the policeman replied.
When there had gone a half hour, Fred thought that he had got enough of the joke and said:
“You are a very clever guy, right? You think that You have arrested Mr. William Jones; but it’s his brother, You caught.”
“I’m not stupid as you think “the policeman answered, “It was You I should catch, and not Your brother!”
With those words he droved the surprised debtor to the station.

er det en oversættelse? hvis det er, så ville det hjælpe meget, hvis du også gad og skrive det danske...

Når lige første sætning i aften:
Two brothers who always was in debt, /WAS ONE TIME/ (ONCE) was in a association, where they amuse(D) /ONESELF/ (THEM SELF) very well, until the elder (BROTHER) /BY LOOKING/ (LOOKED) out of the window (AND) discovered (A) policeman who came walking towards(TOWARDS MED SMÅT) the house.
