Daniel’s Skyline

Two pigs, whose escape from the butcher’s knife a short time ago held the British public spellbound, are now back in captivity. They succeeded in escaping from a bacon factory and swim across a river into freedom. After several days of pig hunt the fugitives were caught up by fate: a couple of veterinarians armed with bow and tranquillizer darts.
Were they hereafter brought back to the meat factory? No, on the contrary, they have been transferred to an animals’ home, where they can pass away quietly. Furthermore the Vegetarian Association has registered an increased interest in membership. This must be due to the fact that people have felt compassion for the champions of liberty. The British is after all a nation of animal lovers.

Bullet in the Brain

There are so many beautiful holiday sites but during the height of the season, charter tourists overrun them. The more money people have, the more they will spend on travelling; that is why it is extremely difficult to find an unspoiled paradise for a holiday.
But one could travel to the Kingdom of Lo, which is located on a plateau at the border between Nepal and Tibet. The trip requires a four-day ride on pony across the mountains. The King of Lo ploughs his fields and walks around his realm once a day to placate the gods.
The best part is that one doesn’t need money, because Lo has none!
Sound interesting?

På forhånd tak

Det er lidt svært at rette en oversættelse når man ikke har den danske tekst, men jeg prøver alligevel

swim = swimming

tranquillizer darts = tranquilizer darts

animals' home = a shelter for animals

The British is a nation = The British are a nation/people

during the height of the season = during the height of season (bruger normalt ikke bestemt kendeord foran season)

But = However,

bruger normalt on med grænser, men at går vel i denne sammenhæng.

doesn't = does not
