Hej. Har et Engelsk Abstract af min 2.års historie opgave. Har svært ved at formulere mig i præcis denne opgave, så der er nok nogle grammatiske fejl.. Håber der er nogen der lige vil rette den.. DET KUN 10 LINJER! ;)
Operation Weserübung
The study examines the German plans of occupying Scandinavia, during the Second World War. April 9th, 1940, 4.15 am, German forces got over the Danish frontier, and only 1 hour and 45 minutes after, Denmark was occupied. The German password for occupying Denmark was ‘Operation Weserübung”. The Operation wasn’t only about occupying Denmark – An occupation of Norway was also a part of the operation. Denmark didn’t do any resistance, when German forces got into the country. It ends up, that both occupations succeeded for Germany. Some people say, if Danish forces did resistance in only three days, Norway wouldn’t get occupied, because English forces would get over there to help in time. The paper discusses what the Danish government and people shut have done. Did Denmark the right thing or not, and which consequences would there be, if Denmark did fight against Germany?
