Jim as you can see, I didnt join the French foreign legion. I had been up for 3 nights when I had That idea. So I wasn’t properly thinkin strate. Hope you got the postal order I sent you. Sorry I know fifteen quids is not enough to compinsayt for what I did but I will send more soon as I can washing dishes does not pay well you know. Havent got a new house yet but the gaffer he lets me sleep in the shed out back where he keeps the spuds and carrots and things so I can keep the rats away so if you do rite back to me send it to the caff on here. I would like you riteing back to me. Jeg tvivler på at hele den smøre ville få plads på et postkort, men lad nu dét ligge. Faktisk er øvelsen lidt fesen, da der ret beset ikke er nogle regler for hvordan man skal skrive et postkort. Dog kan man tage nogle normer fra almindelig brevskrivning og overføre dem, men vigtigst er vel trods alt at man holder læsevenligheden høj, eller så høj den nu kan blive på et postkort.
Jeg har taget mig friheden at bruge sammentrækninger, da et postkort pr. definition er uformel kontekst, og så behøver det sgu ikke at være bloody Oxbridge English, uanset hvad din underviser måtte tro at vedkommende ved. En væsentlig del af enhver skrive- og oversættelsesøvelse er at kunne ramme et passende stilleje, men hvis din underviser brokker sig, send vedkommende til mig eller Stygotius, og så skal vi nok få opdateret vedkommendes 70'er-80'er-uddannelse til English anno 2010.
