Hvorfor "EF"-forordning

Hvorfor heddet det en "EF-forordning" og ikke "EU-forordning"?

Er det bare konservativt, er det pga. hjemmel i EF-traktaten, eller fordi det er gældende under De Europæiske Fællesskaber-delen af EU?

Min underviser i Jura kunne ikke svare mig, men syntes, at jeg skulle undersøge det nærmere.

Jeg vil vurdere, at det mest er historisk betinget.

Det er korrekt, at hjemmel til at træffe forordninger i EF-traktaten. Endvidere er der regler, der fastsætter offentliggørelsen for disse. I traktaten benævnes de dog kun "forordninger", og derfor er EF blot en angivelse af, hvilke forordninger, der er tale om. Derfor er det materielt ligegyldigt, om de kaldes EF eller EU-forordninger. Derfor er det nok mere historisk betinget, at man kalder dem EF-forordninger. Det er lidt ligesom direktiver. Disse kaldes i traktaten jo for direktiver, men i Danmark kaldes de ofte EU-direktiver. Der er ikke noget materielt, som siger, at de skal hedde EU-direktiver, men det er en angivelse af, hvor de kommer fra.

Denne opfattelse støttes af det forhold, at der er forordninger der i daglig tale kaldes EU-forordninger.
