An application- Konstruktion???

Dear Sir,

By this application I would like to apply for the grant that you offer foreign students, who want to participate in your summer camp for two weeks.

I have been considering for a long time, to join a summer camp, since I wasn´t that sure. However now I ‘am absolutely certain, that this is just what I need. I want to take part in this year’s summer camp, partly to challenge my limits and myself, but mostly to get an unforgettable experience with the other campers. It has been my biggest dream to participant an American summer camp, since I was a little girl. It will be pleased to know the American culture much better.  

A little about myself; I ´am a fifteen years old girl, who lives and was born in Denmark, but originally I am from Turkey. I am in ninth grade in a private school in Copenhagen.

I ‘am a positive and humorous person. I have an extroverted personality, so I will love to make some new friendships. I am an active girl, who loves to be in the nature and be in the fresh air with nature´s circumstances. For instance I spend great time with the animals, so this will certainly not be a problem.

People especially give me credit, for being very imaginative and inventive. I think it´s possibly because I have a vivid and a creative imagination and in my world the only limit is my imagination for my dreams. 

I am ready to go trough every single activity. I will try out everything to get a wonderful experience. I am sure I will never be boring. 

I can speak a couple of languages. My native languages are Danish and Turkish. I began learning English, in the third grade; it is absolutely my favourite language. About two years ago I started having Deutsch and French at school. So I look forward to talk with campers from all over the world.

This summer camp will strengthen my oral English. It’s necessarily to speak up, since nobody would understand one of my native languages.  

I will also strengthen my social life. In this case, I would be in a group, where no one knows each other. Therefore I need to reflect my identity as well as possible, to prove who I really am, for the other campers. I hope to meet many new friends, and probably in few days I´ll make very close friendships, which will do my camp experience a lot better.
