Advice on what to present in front of class

The people who eat a lot of fast food are called “heavy users”. They make up the 20% of fast food eaters who account for 60% of fast-food sales, and a typical heavy user is male in his 20’s or 30’s.

Recently obese fast food eaters have begun to sue fast-food chains for contributing to their weight problems, and a lot of studies which show the awfulness of obesity just make the people who want regular fast food eaters to change, stand stronger.

According to a heavy user called Rob Borucki they don’t need help, he argues that they know what they’re doing. He eats fast at least 5 times a week, and he describes one of his better days as when a West Coast hot dog chain, he grew up with, opened a few blocks from his office. Besides eating fast food, Borucki is a moderate exerciser, and sometimes he’ll buy a side salad instead of fries.

A new trend of eating healthier among fast food eaters have made McDonalds launch a “fruit and walnut salad” alternative, and the healthy approach seems to be a success. Heavy users are basically adapting, which means McDonalds dropped its Super Size portions because no one was buying them.

On one hand I think it’s quite terrible that this way of living is so popular, it causes all kinds of health issues and also affect the global economy.
On the other hand we live in a free country, and as long as “the so called heavy users” know the health issues of eating so much fast food, I think its up to oneself to decide whether or not they want to indulged in this.

Here's a bit to put into consideration.

The Americans´ eating habits has gone through some drastic changes over the last 30-40 years, and maybe even without anyone noticing it, until now. Nowadays, 40% of the housekeeping budget of a regular American family is spent outside the home in fastfood restaurants and other places where the food is to be bought ready-cooked. How can this be? Why do most people prefer ready-cooked food instead of a healthy home prepared meal?

Children:
The pitifully part of the problem is that, the grown-ups know exactly what they stuff into their mouth, they have a choice, but their children do not. They just have to follow their parents’ way of living, which also includes their eating habits. So do they destroy their own body’s by eating inappropriate over a period of time, they also draw their children into it, they do not have a choice and they do not know the possible side effects. It is the parents’ responsibility to make sure that their children eat healthy and suitability, while they are growing up.

Håber det hjalp.
