School shooting s are is a terrible thing, that especially takes place in America. The main problem with schools in America is that guns can be bought as if it they were cola. It makes me sad, that even kids can have easy access to guns. A little kid cannot be held responsible for having killed someone.  It is really ridiculous that America has not removed The Second Amendment. It was founded in 1791! It is unbelievable that two-thirds of the American people supports The Second Amendment; then but when school shooting happens, the American people blame everything else, but not the guns. A guy like Marilyn Manson can be blamed, because he is different, and by different I mean: He wears makeup, makes some songs that scare the American people etc. They are so morally ambivalent. They do not like the killings, but they support The Second Amendment. They clearly know that it is was not Marilyn Manson`s fold fault? when that the Columbine school shooting took place in 1999, but since the whole problem with school shooting and guns started because of inconsiderate legislation their own mistakes, they have to find a scapegoat, since they have no sense of responsibility in this matter. cannot blame them self for being responsible for their actions. Of course it is easy to blame the guy who stands out the most, Marylyn Manson.

America should have taken away The Second Amendment long time ago.

I hope that love and peace can again find a place in the hearts of the families and friends that are grieving for their lost little children and also for the families and friends of the teachers who died only doing their jobs – may they find love and peace too.

Ways we can In order to reduce the prevalence of school shootings, we should also reduce the prevalence of bullying, and it should start in the elementary school years, when bullying peaks. Schools should be held responsible for allowing such things. Another effective way would be to reduce the media coverage of school shootings to a reasonable extent. Of course journalists have not only right but a responsibility to inform the public regarding the important news. I think the more attention the school shootings gets, the more likely someone will try to attempt the same thing; basically a copycat will appear.

School shootings ended on September 11, 2001, when the focus was stolen by 9/11. 9/11 turned the American people’s attention to fight terrorism. Several months after 9/11 there was no school shootings.
