Calling Elvis

Then we also have read a text, about one of the biggest figures of our music culture, and who really has formed basis of allot of that music, existing today. The person we are talking about is Elvis. Elvis was born in the year 1935, and actually he was born into a very poor family in Mississippi. Besides that they were pretty poor, they also were members of the local church, which was attended every Sunday. So this meant, that he grew up in a very religious family, full with religious meetings, big crowds of people and gospel singers. All this put together really effected Elvis, and influenced him, to make that kind of music he later did. By the mid – 50’s Elvis was singing just to earn some money, but then his big talent gave him a contract with sun records. Hereafter he made some concerts, and the normal country western music was pushed behind Elvis’s very “wild” and shaking music, which did that the country western musicians, didn’t like him. But nearly everybody liked him, and he became very famous and popular, actually he was a legend in his own time, and was called “the king”. Even that Elvis’s career was small, and other bands – like Beatles took the music throne from him, Elvis is still seen as the king, of rock and roll. And am sure about, that if Elvis, didn’t had shown the world how music also can sound, we wouldn’t have the same large music culture, as we have today.

hejsa... har prøvet at rette det... har skrevet i paranteser efter det jeg tror er fejl hvordan jeg ville have skrevet det... kan ikke garantere det er helt korrekt, men plejer at få 10-11 på engelsk B...

Then we also have read a text(Jeg tror du skal bytte om på ordstillingen -> then we have also ....), about one of the biggest figures of our music culture, and( jeg tror man kan udelade and her) who really has formed basis of allot ( a lot i to ord) of that (the istedet for that) music, existing today ( er ikke sikker på man kan lave -ing form her jeg ville nok sige which/that exists today). The person we are talking about is Elvis. Elvis was born in the year 1935, and actually he was( ville bytte om på ordstillingen -> he was actually born ellers tror jeg du kan lave punktum og droppe and, og så beholde ordstillingen) born into (tror bare jeg ville skrive in - men er ikke klar over om dette også er korrekt) a very poor family in Mississippi. Besides that they were pretty poor, they also were (ville ændre ordstillingen -> they were also) members of the local church, which was (they) attended every Sunday. So (ville nok udelade so - det bliver lidt en danisme)this meant, that he grew up in a very religious family, full(filled) with religious meetings, big crowds of people and gospel singers. All this put together(ville nok sige ->this altogether effected elvis og udelade and influenced him for det er lidt en gentagelse)) really effected Elvis, and influenced him, to make that kind of music he later did. By the mid(middle) – 50’s Elvis was singing just to earn some money, but then his big talent gave him a contract with sun records. Hereafter(ville nok sige afterwards) he made some(evt. a lot for ikke at bruge some igen) concerts, and the normal country western music was pushed behind Elvis’s very “wild” and shaking music, which did that the country western musicians , didn’t like him("which did" er en danisme - jeg går ud fra du mener hvilket gjorde eller hvilket medførte? - du bør nok sige which made the country western musicians dislike him eller noget i den stil) . But(ville nok sige however) nearly(ville nok sige almost) everybody liked him, and he became very famous and popular (famous og popular er stortset det samme, jeg synes du skal nøjes med en af dem), actually he was a legend in his own time, and was called “the king”. Even that (though istedt for that) Elvis’s (intet ekstra s bare Elvis')career was small, and other bands – like Beatles took the music throne from him, Elvis is still seen as the king, of rock and roll. And am sure about, that if Elvis, didn’t had shown(ville nok udelade had og bare skrive didn't show(uden n), da did både angiver datiden og at det er noget man gør) the world how music also can sound, we wouldn’t have the same large( ville nok sige big) music culture, as we have today.

Håber du forstår det og kan bruge det:)
