Hej alle. Står med en oversættelse fra eksamensteksten "Beggarland", og har lidt bøvl med denne. vil nogen kigge i det her? Flere steder har jeg indsat to muligheder, da jeg var i tvivl om hvad der var rigtigt:
In an editorial in ”British medical Journal” people say that British teenagers have the most unhealthy sexual habits in Europe. They beat the record as regards / as to pregnancies, abortions and sexually transmitted diseases. The birthrate for the 15- 19- year-old is seven times as high as in The Netherlands, where a similar number are sexually active, but are more inclined to use protection./ protect themselves. That could be due to / could be caused the education level is to low, as / because a good general education often results in /causes healthier sexual habits. An other reason could be that Britain house more homeless people. Thirdly, British parents have the longest working hours in Europe, and spend ("måske derfor" - hvordan f.... siger man det?!) to little time with their children.

They beat records regarding pregnancies, abortions and sexually transmitted diseases. The birth rate for the 15-19-year-olds is 7 times as high as in the Netherlands, where a similar number is sexually active, but are more inclined to use protection.
That could be due to the fact that the education level is too low, as a good general education often contributes to healthier sexual habits.
Another reason could be that Britain houses more homeless people. Thirdly, British parents have the longest working hours in Europe, and therefore probably spend too little time with their children.
