The Sin Bin or Lucy’s Heart

The story takes place in England in the city, Cardiff. It was summer afternoon and Lucy Cooke was put in detention, also called Sin Bin, because she had hit a girl named Penny Jones. She wasn’t the only one there was in the greenhouse on the school that day, Simon Parle and Mr. Paterson were there as well, but Mr. Paterson were a teacher and took detentions and Simon was one of those types there always sad in detention.
In reality it was Lucy’s best friend Bethan Preece’s fault that Lucy was put in detention by her head of the year. Bethan made Lucy hurt Penny properly just to prove their friendship.
Meanwhile she was sitting in the detention room she was looking out after Bethan and at last she got an eye on her, seeing her talking to two older boys, one of them is called Acker.

In the start of the text, we meet the female main character, as the speaker whose name was Lucy Cooke. Afterwards we hear about her friend Bethan Preece that made her hit Penny Jones maybe not just to prove their friendship, but prove that Lucy is the likes of Bethan.
Lucy and Bethan are best friends but also the opposite of each other. Lucy is a nice and hardworking student, there have nine O-levels, and meanwhile Bethan is maybe a little malicious and lining her life a bit risky.
