Jeg er igang med et resume af "the stone boy".
Jeg vil gerne høre forslag til forberinger af dette lille stykke. "thus"-sætningen volder mig især problemer!

Ordet "thus" bruges meget i matematikken samen med "hence". Jeg synes heller ikke om sætningen og foreslår derfor at skrive.
They go out in the morning to pick peas and Arnold takes his rifle with him, because he might get to shoot ducks present in the vicinity. "
