Spread your legs and smile is about a guy who tells about his experiences as a frequent fliers. He has been a frequent flier since his was 6 years old because his parents choose to put him in a boarding school. He tells us about how the security check has gone to far after 9/11. During the text he gives lot of examples on how the securities examine the passengers. One of his friends is so fed up that he simply refuses to fly anymore. Another example is a mother who is carrying breast milk in a bottle for her baby she was ordered to drink it to prove it wasn’t a lethal toxin. One of his colleagues tells him that his handicap son who flies with an oxygen tank and the security want to know if it not poison gas.
