Hej jeg forstår ikke denne introcuktion..

Originally supplied by Radju so creds to him but unfortunately alot of people didn't know what to do with the files.

I have put the files in a rar file which you can download below - the rar file also includes a thing called Independence Compiler 4.1 (file under 2MB)

Things you will need:

The files from the link above

You need a Swap Magic CD - but only on a one off so if you can, borrow it.

An original Playstation 1 game

An original Playstation 2 game that uses a lot of the disc (large TOC)

A slide card tool - google for a guide on where to buy/how to make one

A blank CD-R

A PS2 memory card with at least 4.75MB of free space (I use a 16MB card)

I have Swap Magic 2.0 but use this for games that have troubles loading with that older version, 3.8 loads a lot more programs and allows for PAL <--> NTSC conversion also.

Installation instructions:

1. 1st use WinRAR to extract the files from the archive to your harddrive and then find the files and run "independencecompiler4.1.exe"

2. On the splash screen click close window and the actual program window will appear - it says update available but the newer version is only a beta where this version is more stable.

3. Click the "Title.DB" tab. Get your PS1 game disc (I chose Tony Hawk's Pro Skater) put it into your CD/DVD drive and choose the drive letter from the dropdown box on the screen. Then click on "Get ID from CD", then once it's appeared in the "Current ID" box click "Add to Title.DB" (So in the case of Tony Hawk's it was SLES_020.55) - add as many titles to the list as you like, basically any games you add to the list will be usuable as boot up discs so don't use any games that you have borrowed or rented.

4. Click the "Files" tab. Click the "Browse for file" button and find the Swap Magic 3.8 file you want "sm3.8-dvd.elf" for the DVD version and "sm3.8-cd.elf" for the CD version ( I just used the DVD version because the odds are any half decent game you've bothered to copy will be on DVD). Click on "Add" and it will now have file's name in the "Added Files:" box.

5. Click the "Region" tab. You need to choose if you are booting from a PAL (European/Australian) or NTSC (American) PS2. JPN (Japanese) doesn't seem to be supported yet.

6. Click the "Create Exploit" tab. Choose "CD Image (bin/cue)" as the output format and choose "No" to the "Installer Only?" option. Then click on "Create Exploit!". Wait a minute or so until it says "An ISO has been built here: C:\ISCentral\" (It may say a different location for you). Click "OK" and close the Indepence Compiler program down.

7. Load Nero/CDRWin/DVD Decrypter or any other CD writing software that supports .bin files and burn the image file to a CD-R.

8. Next make sure the PS2 memory card you are going to use is in slot 1 and then boot the original Swap Magic CD that you've borrowed or own in your PS2. When it says "Insert Disc." use your slide tool to remove the Swap Magic CD and insert your freshly created exploit CD. Reclose the drive with the slide tool and press "X" on the control pad.

9. Then the screen should load up with a grey screen with white writing saying "Config", and "Press D-Pad or any button". Press up on the control pad and the press "O" (O = Circle) and new menu should now appear press "O" to enter the default menu option. Move down to the "cdfs:/" option and press "O", go down to "expinst.elf" and press "O". You'll now be back at the large menu, move down to "Ok" and again press "O". Now a timeout counter will count from 10 down to 1 and the load the mermory card installer. This will then copy the necessary files to your memory card. Once it says installation is complete eject the exploit CD and put in you original Playstation 1 game, now restart the PS2.

10. Nearly there..... Now the grey screen will be there again. Again press up, then "O" big menu will appear again press "O" to edit default. This time press "O" to access "mc0:/" the go down to "BADATA-SYSTEM/" for NTSC or "BEDATA-SYSTEM/" for PAL and press "O", go down to "sm3.8-dvd.elf" if you've put the DVD file on or "sm3.8-cd.elf" if you've chosen the CD version. Press "O" to return to main menu, go down to ok and press "O". This will now save the configuration to your memory card.

From this point on installation is complete and you are now onto the usage instructions.

Usage instructions:

1.Boot the PS2 using your original Playstation 1 game with your memory card in slot 1. The grey screen will appear and count down from 10 to 1 and then automatically load Swap Magic 3.8 Coder.

2. Eject (don't use slide tool just use the PS2's eject button), the Playstation 1 game and put in your original Playstation 2 game (e.g. Devil May Cry 3 or Sonic Heroes - you need a game that uses most of the disc up as if you use a disc with a smaller TOC size than that of the copy it will not boot). Close the drive, it will say along the bottom of the screen that TOC refresh is in progress. Once this has gone and it asks to insert your disc use the slide card to remove the original PS2 game and insert your copy in and slide the drive back again. Then just press "X" to select normal boot and then choose "PAL" (to play an NTSC game on a PAL system), "DEFAULT" (if the copy is PAL it will load as PAL, and if NTSC it will load as NTSC), or "NTSC" (to play a PAL game on a NTSC system). Press "X" to confirm and that's it your game should load.

Kan hjælpe med forståelsen På forhånd mange tak.
