I have a friend, who is going to London for a half year. She wrote to an agency, which speciality is private residences to people, who are looking for accommodation in London for a brief period. In the letter, which she received from the agency, it said, that the cheapest solution would properly be a one-room flat, which could be obtainable with our without build in kitchen and shower. She could also – which might be to prefer in her situation – chose a flat on “delebasis”.
Last winter, when her parents were three weeks in London, they contacted another agency, “hos hvem” you can rent a fully furnished flat, which almost has the same service and facilities as a hotel, in which there is more space and room for privacy. The reason, that they have chosen this solution is that her mother is sick and tired of hotels, which you can understand in consideration of, that her job involves many business trips.
The stay was a huge success and they will decorate themselves in the same way, every time they get the opportunity.
