This study investigates how the differentiations between the sexes are already manifested in the embryonic stage. In connection with this review, the roles of the sex hormones are also discussed as they are important in the division of the sexes. In addition to that, a review of sexual and emotional features of the man and woman respectively will be necessary, and will therefore be covered, as it will create the possibility to show the similarities and differences in the brain structure between the two sexes. Just like the differences in the view of sexual identity are obvious from a biological point of view, those differences are reflected in literature as well. In addition to that the conclusion is that both biological and societal factors influence our sexual exploration and perception of identity. Again, this leads us back to the perception of whether you are specifically able to define the brain of men and women respectively. It is covered that both literature and scientists have proved that we are not only created as sexual individuals as a product of the differentiations between the sexes but that other things such as societal causes also influences us in order to develop.
