Her en lille tekst, hvor jeg har fået til opgave at rette datid til nutid og førdatid til førnutid.. Kan I hjælpe mig med at se om dette er gjort korrekt?

In winter, candles burned in the windows of homes after dark. Mr. Ganguli had been hired as an assistant professor of electrical engineering at the university. In exchange for teaching five classes, he earned sixteen thousand dollars a year. He shared, along with other members of his department, the services of an elderly secretary named Mrs. Jones, who often put a plate of homemade banana bread by the coffee machine in the staff room.
