A counterrevolution has broken out on the Thames peninsula of the Isle of Dogs, which was declared independent of Great Britain on Sunday. Because not all 10,000 inhabitants are walking around in Republican thoughts, and therefore there has been a collecting of signatures going on. People sign their signatures on the fact that they wish to remain under English rule. The Dog Island’s President, the 37-year-old clerk and the local aldermen Ted Jones is however convinced that half of the Island’s inhabitants still stand behind him.
