Abstract, ændringer eller ej?

Hej folkens. Jeg sidder med en SRO-opgave, og i den forbindelse skal jeg som så mange andre skrive et afsnit med abstract. Jeg er ikke den skarpeste til engelsk og kunne derfor godt tænke mig et par kommentarer/ændringer hertil.

This study investigates hits, with social criticism content. The purpose is to analyze and give an account of American hits, how the music has changed the peoples view on society and what development the sound of the music has been through. This report will also contain an in-depth analysis of the American hit “Where is the love” performed by The Black Eyed Peas. By working and analyzing different music, makes us want to go deeper into the smaller sounds in the music. By searching, you find. With a textual analysis the focus of the song is seen in the chorus of the song, “Where is the love”. By digging deeper into the song, we will discover that verse and chorus are opposites. The use of violin is not always common in rap songs, and the mix between rap and regular singing is either general. That is found by analyzing the sounds and the music itself. An ordinary rock/pop model has been used to analyze “Where is the love”.  In a more scientific way, a hit has got to be very structured and firm. There are some rules and roads that you have got to follow. Then, what makes “Where is the love” a hit? Simply, it contains everything a hit must own. The results shows that we here have the right answer to a hit. We have a song with hooks, the right length, a mix between the hard and the soft, that people remember. A significant thing is, that the music and its lyrics from decades ago, has given inspiration to the music of today. We don’t see or hear protest songs as much as we did in the sixties. But still, it is around every corner, the race discrimination, the political problems and wars getting out of control. Music is like a freedom space for many people. It brings us together. It makes people feel as one society, one nation and under one sky.
